A healthy diet is a good thing. There is no doubt that I need a variety of good food in order to sustain my body. The old and new food pyramids address these needs. The old food pyramid omits another aspect of eating a balanced diet… exercise. The new food pyramid includes activity along with a proper diet. Let's contrast the food pyramids to what I have found in the Word.
I keep reading how "I can live off the Word" in the bible. There are several references to men living off the Word of God. It is this "living off the Word" that I need to clarify for myself. I want to compare "living of the Word" to the "Food Pyramids". I am sure that I will find many amazing similarities with my physical and spiritual diet.
Here is a reading plan that I have sunset as I transitioned to Logos for my reading application. As of now, this is a base work for my taking steps to learn about God.
